Every year a lot of questions are asked from Ecology and Environment in the Civil Services Preliminary examination. The number of questions asked from this section particularly increased after the Preliminary Examination of Indian Forest Services has been combined with the Civil Services Preliminary Examination. So we are of the opinion that the importance of this section will remain as such. This subject also has minor presence in GS Paper III of the Main Examination.
This subject is multidisciplinary in nature, so students will have to develop holistic approach while studying this subject. This subject heavily draws from subjects like Biology and Geography and also somewhat makes minor draws from Chemistry, Physics and other disciplines.
Our expert faculty adheres to such multidisciplinary approach while teaching the subject. Faculty at first focuses on developing understanding of students with regards to core concepts then they move on to current affairs and advanced concepts. To make the teaching of the subject more interesting and help students in memorizing the concepts, faculties use maps, pictures, charts etc. Use of such charts, maps etc. also helps students in better understanding of concepts.
This course is suitable for everyone who is looking forward to qualify the prelims examination.
